Yes, VascuPen™ can be used to treat many small, benign skin tags. However, all skin tags must be evaluated prior to treatment to ensure they are safe and appropriate for removal. Any suspicious or changing lesions should be assessed by a medical provider first.

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick snap, warmth, or light stinging that is very tolerable and brief. The treatment is fast and generally well tolerated.

Treatment time varies depending on the number and size of areas being treated, but most sessions take 10–30 minutes.

There is minimal to no downtime. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or a small scab or crusting over treated vessels or lesions, which typically resolves within a few days.

Some improvements may be visible immediately, while full results develop over the following days to weeks as the treated vessels or lesions fade and the skin heals.
